A Year in Besançon, France.

Before the winery and the MBA, there was a year that changed everything. Living in Besançon in my early twenties, I discovered the true meaning of the 'long lunch' and the art of slow, intentional travel. It was here, among the fortresses and the vineyards of eastern France, that my palate was born and my curiosity for the world was ignited.

Since opening the doors of Coeur d’Alene Cellars in February 2002, I have dedicated my career to the art of the blend. Over twenty-four years and an MBA, I’ve learned that a truly world-class experience—whether in a glass or on a voyage—requires both creative vision and rigorous precision. I don’t just book travel; I orchestrate it with the same care I’ve given to every vintage since 2002.

Beyond the Vineyard. 〰️

When I’m not at the winery or scouting new destinations for my clients, you can find me at home in Coeur d’Alene. I’m a firm believer in the "feel-good" Peloton ride, the thrill of a family dive trip, and the joy of watching my daughters grow into their own adventures. This is my home base, and it’s where I keep my heart as I help you explore the rest of the world.
